RE: Permit #2006-0246 – Request for Code Relief Regarding Elevation Comment dated 10/4/2021
Leslie,
We are requesting that we are exempt from the code regarding the elevation of the building and the 18”
above the centerline of the adjacent road. The elevation of the existing house is at 12.30 and the
proposed garage addition is at 12.30 as well. The centerline of the adjacent road (A1A) is at 19.00. The
neighboring properties all have the same condition where A1A is at a significantly higher elevation. The
proposed detached garage sits in Flood Zone AE-11.
