HWY A1A, FORT PIERCE, FL 34949 SLC BLDG. DEPT. PERMIT NUMBER: 2106-0415 PROJECT NAME: Bryn Mawr Condominiums Concrete Repairs 2021 – Bldg. C DATE: October 1, 2021 CLIENT: Elliott Merrill Community Management LOCATION: Fort Pierce, FL CONTRACTOR: Daniello & Associates, Inc. PROJECT MGR: Mr. Chris Arias INSPECTED BY: Todd Rhoten WEATHER: Sunny WORK INSPECTED: • Limited access balconies: o Units 105, 506, 601 & 801 - Walk through to identify and highlight areas for repair. o Units 201 & 801 - In progress inspection. OBSERVATIONS: Unit 105 • (1) surface spall was located at the west edge near the screen enclosure and is scheduled for demo. Unit 201 • The north balcony edge and ceiling crack have been chipped of all loose concrete and corroded reinforcing bars are exposed. • The existing reinforcing bars were found to have some surface corrosion and are in serviceable condition. • Bars have been power tooled cleaned and coated with the approved corrosion inhibitor. Unit 506 • A column spall at the south kitchen sliding glass door jamb was found and is scheduled for demo. Unit 601 • Found a surface spall adjacent to the east facing sliding glass door. Unit 801 • A temporary weather wall has been placed inside the unit at the master bedroom. • The sliding glass door and adjacent hurricane shutter top tracks have been removed. • Ceiling spall – loose concrete has been chipped and corroded reinforcing has been exposed all the way to the east edge. Unit 805 • Loose topping was found at the east facing balcony. M L Engineering Inc.
