- All pre-cast lintels to have min. 4" bearing.
- Glazing at exterior doors, shower, bathtub and similar
locations will be of an approved safety glass.
- See final engineered truss drawings for uplift loads
and Truss Connectors.
- Floor LL = 40 p.s.f.
- Roof: DL & LL = 20 psf bottom cord; DL&LL = 27 psf top cord
-Footings shall be as indicated on drawings.
- Reinforcement of laps in footings shall be 30". Corner bars are
required at all outside corners.
- Reinforcing steel shall be min. grade 60. Reinforcement shall be
placed in accordance with AISC, CRSI, & ASTM 615.
- Compacted soils shall be tested to a minimum of 95% of Modified
Proctor in accordance with ASTM D 1557 and compacted and
tested in lifts not to exceed 12 inches.
- Soil bearing capacity for this project is 2500 psf.
- All concrete to be min. of f'c = 3000 p.s.i. at 28 days.
GENERAL NOTES (if applicable):
- This plan has been designed according to Florida Building Code 2020, 7th Edition.
-Poison soil against termites beneath Slab prior to concrete pour.
- Design wind speed is 150 MPH. (St. Lucie County)
- HURRICANES SHUTTERS: All Windows shall be protected with Removable
Impact Resistant Panels fastened with manufacturers approved fasteners embedded
into concrete tie beam (top), filled concrete cell (sides) and precast concrete sill

Impact Resistant Glass. (see below)
- Garage Common Door shall be 1/2 Hour Fire Rated 1 3/4"
Wood door equipped with self closer.
- Garage Common Wall shall be minimum 1/2" Sheetrock or
