Dear Mr. Lastrange,
In December of 2006, I was granted a permit to construct a dock (SLC 0610 0059).
Unfortunately, my business has required me to work out of state for the major part of the
last six months; as a result, I have been unable to complete my dock project. I will be
returning home to Florida on 5 June, but I now understand that my permit will expire on
6 June 2007.
I am hereby requesting an extension of 30 — 45 days to this permit in order to complete
this project in a timely manner. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

I spoke with Amy and she said it is okay to use the permit issued in July..I checked the conditions of
issuance, it has been approved by DEP with no mitigation required. Everything looks fine, so you can go
