Roderick Waller 130 S Indian River Dr. Suite 202 Fort Pierce, FL 34950 Chris Dzadovsky DISTRICT 1 RE: Finished Floor Waiver Chair Dear Mr. Waller, Sean Mitchell Please accept this letter in response to your request received October 11, 2021, to waive the required finished floor elevation of 18" above the crown of the adjacent road. The waiver DISTRICT 2 request is for a proposed addition for an existing single-family home located at 1702 Juanita Vice -Chair Ave, Ft Pierce. Pursuant to Section 7.04.01.C.3 of the St Lucie County Land Development Code, the Linda Bartz Planning and Development Services Director has the authority to grant administrative relief, DISTRICT 3 when topographical conditions are such that compliance with this subsection would be impracticable or cause grade level conditions detrimental to adjacent or nearby property, consistent with the intent of the Flood Protection regulations and any other applicable portion of this Code. Frannie Hutchinson DISTRICT 4 The Planning and Development Services Director has granted your request for administrative relief of the finished floor elevation based on the following determinations: 1. The property is located within flood zone X. Cathy Townsend 2. The floor elevation of existing house is at 14.27' NAVD. DISTRICT 5 3. The proposed floor elevation of the addition will be at 14.27' and the open porch at 13.8' NAVD. 4. The elevation of the center line of the adjacent road is 13.75' NAVD. 5. The proposed finished floor elevation of the addition will be 0.52' above the centerline Administration of the adjacent roadway. This approval does not in any way constitute authorization to begin construction. Prior to the commencement of any construction on this property, an application for specific building Howard Tipton permit must be obtained from this department.
