Diamond Sands Major Development Plan was approved under Development Order 06-160 dated June
271 2006 as a 45 dwelling unit subdivision. The final approval was based on a Major Adjustment to the
original 2003 Major Development Plan Approval as a result of the 2004 hurricane impact to the site.
The purpose of the requested Major Adjustment is the allowance of a 45-slip boat docking facility in the
Indian River for the benefit of the 45 dwelling units. All State and Federal permits have been issued for
the proposed facility.
Existing grass dry detention areas within the subdivision water management design will be landscaped
with native grasses to improve water quality discharged to the Indian River.
