LOCATE DUCT DROP FROM RANGE. (MAY BE EXTENDING THROUGH BOTTOM BOARD, OR SEALED INSIDE) 2. CHECK DUCT PROVIDED FOR PROPER LENGTH, AND OBSTRUCTIONS. THEN CONNECT TO DUCT DROP FROM RANGE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. 3. SECURE THE VENT CAP TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE SKIRTING AT THE APPROPRIATE LOCATION. 4. SECURE THE END OF THE DOWN DRAFT RANGE DUCT TO THE VENT CAP AT THE EXTERIOR OF THE HOME WITH CLAMPS OR SCREWS. NOTE: DO NOT USE ANY FASTENERS THAT CRUSH OR BLOCK THE DUCT. 5. STRAP THE DUCT TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE HOME TO PREVENT THE DUCT FROM BENDING OR COMING IN CONTACT WITH THE GROUND. 6. SEAL THE OPENINGS AROUND THE DUCT WHERE IT PASSES THROUGH THE FLOOR WITH CAULK OR DUCT TAPE, AND THE BOTTOM BOARD WITH DUCT TAPE.
