St.Lucie County - ------ Progress Inspection Report #24 Permit #SLC 2102-0371 Project Name: Barclay Beach Club Progress Report thru 10-29-21 Project Address: 2800 SR-Al A, Hutchinson Island Inspection Visits: 10-29-21 Prime Contractor: Blue Coast Construction Superintendent: Rafael Rodriguez Activities in-progress: Stack 08 demo, 01 stack swing stage installation and marks for repair, 04 stack waterproofing, 05 stack paint, and 04 stack shutter removal INSPECTOR'S REPORT Keystone Engineering visited the site on 10-29-21 and had several conversations with the construction team by telephone throughout the week. This week the construction crew installed a swing stage above the 01 stack, initial marks for repair were completed for obvious damage. Workers applied protective netting on the 01 balcony stack, where floor coating and shutter track removal are in progress. Flood testing, surface profiling, and waterproofing applications were completed on the 04 stack where the crew is now prepping for knockdown textures. The walls and ceilings were painted on the 05 stack, workers are now prepping the surfaces for waterproofing applications. The crew also installed a swing stage above the east windows on the 04 stack where shutter removal is in progress to prepare for new window installations. This week the construction crew installed interior barricades inside Units 1004, 904, 804, and Penthouse 3 to prepare for shear window removal. Workers removed the shear windows from Penthouse 3, 1004, and 904 which has revealed severe corrosion of the reinforcement and concrete spalling. Spalling was observed inside on the Unit 904 ceiling and in the slab edges in between several windows on the 04 stack. New excavations will begin next week to repair the concrete before new windows are installed. Workers removed the handrails from the 01 and 08 stacks, where coating removal and initial excavations are in progress. Knockdown textures were completed on the 04 stack balconies and waterproofing applications were completed on the 05 stack. This week the construction crew finished removing the floor coatings on the 08 stack, coating removal is still in progress on the 01 stack. The 08 balconies were re-inspected and marked for repairs, initial excavations are in progress to expose the reinforcement under spalling near doors. Workers installed interior barricades by the shear windows inside Units 504, 604, 704, 1005, and Penthouse 4 to prepare for window removal later on. This week the construction crew finished painting the floors on the 05 balcony stack, shutter track reinstallations are now in progress on the 04 and 05 stacks. Workers removed all the floor coatings on the 01 stack and the balconies were re-inspected and marked for repairs, initial excavations are now in progress. The crew excavated spalled concrete under the shear windows for Units 904, 1004, and Penthouse 3. Permit #SLC 2102-0371 s Project Name: Barclay Beach Club Progress Report thru 11-26-21 Project Address: 2800 SR-Al A, Hutchinson Island Inspection Visits: 11-22-21 Prime Contractor: Blue Coast Construction Superintendent: Rafael Rodriguez Activities in-progress: 04 and 05 shutter track reinstallations, 01/08 stack initial excavations, shear window edge repairs INSPECTOR'S REPORT Keystone Engineering visited the site on 11-22-21 and had several conversations with the construction team by telephone throughout the week. Work was short this week due to a holiday, no work was active on Thursday and Friday. The construction crew finished reinstalling the shutter tracks on the 04 and 05 balcony stacks. Workers cast back the edge repairs under the shear windows in progress last week on the 04 stack. After all the shutters were removed on the 05 stack the crew applied foam to existing cracks from the spalling under the windows, slabs were inspected and marked for repairs.
