USA Engineering have been requested to perform a structural evaluation of T-Mobile’s antenna and equipment
installation with regards to its impact on the existing elevated platform and existing building located at the above-
referenced address. The evaluation is based on the following information:
Documents Remarks Date Source
Construction Drawings Rev 1 10/19/2021 USA
Mount Analysis (Passing) Mount Replacement Analysis Report 10/5/2021 USA
RFDS Version 6 7/27/2021 Smartlink

T-Mobile’s existing rooftop equipment is installed on an elevated steel platform, located on the building roof deck at
110’(±) AGL. The modification to T-Mobile’s platform equipment is as indicated in the table below:

The combined weight of the new T-Mobile equipment being installed on the elevated platform is significantly
reduced from the equipment being removed; therefore, it is the engineering judgment of this office that the
installation will have no appreciable impact on either the vertical or horizontal loads imposed on the elevated
platform or the building roof. Based on the information provided to us at this time, the elevated platform and building
roof can support the proposed equipment configuration.
T-Mobile’s existing antennas and ancillary equipment is installed on the penthouse wall with a rad center of 120’(±)
AGL. The modification to T-Mobile’s antennas and ancillary equipment is as indicated in the table below:
Existing
To Be Removed
Proposed
To Be Installed
(6) Antennas (6) Antennas
(3) TMAs, (3) Triplexers (6) RRUs
(6) Existing Wall Mounts (6) WWM01 Wall Mounts
It is the engineering judgement of this office that the proposed antenna and ancillary equipment replacement
installation will have no appreciable impact on the penthouse wall. The proposed antenna configuration, with
regards to the structural capacity of the proposed mount and wall connections, has been addressed in a separate
document. Refer to the Documents table for more information.
No conclusions, expressed or implied, shall indicate that USA Engineering has made an evaluation of the original
design, materials, fabrication, or potential erection deficiencies. In addition, the conclusions expressed herein are
based upon the information contained within the aforementioned documents. Any information contrary to that
assumed for the purpose of preparing this evaluation could alter the findings and conclusions as stated.
