WORK INSPECTED:
Limited access balconies – Units 302 and 604
OBSERVATIONS:
Unit 302
• A temporary weather wall has been placed at the east facing living room SGD.
• The owner hired a separate door contractor to remove the SGD.
• Corroded bars have been exposed, power tool cleaned, and coated with approved corrosion inhibitor.
Unit 604
• Loose stucco was removed from the ceiling adjacent to the living room SGD.
• Concrete was sounded and no concrete repairs are necessary.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Unit 302
• Remove the temporary weather wall after the SGD is re-installed.
• Repair any interior finishes that were damaged by the temporary wall.
Unit 604
• Apply new stucco at the ceiling to match the surrounding areas.
Contractor to move swing stage to the 06 stack. (At the far south edge of the building.)
Repair areas have been marked out for Units 206 & 506.
