The owner.•has elected to raise the existing Livings Room slab as indicated. Please note details on Sheet#2. i i 2. Once demolition was completed, it was discoveredthat a two ply girder exists at the Covered Porch. Rather than install columns to,support the new microlam beam (necessitated by the removal of the center column) it will be possible to attach this new beam to the.existing girder as indicated. Also, the new beam will be two pieces rather than three. Please see revised details. 3. A detail has been added for installing the new pocket sliding glass door. See Sheet#3.
