SCOPE:
This Evaluation Report is issued under Rule 61G20-3 and the applicable rules and regulations governing the use of
construction materials in the State of Florida.The documentation submitted has been reviewed by Robert Nieminen,P.E.for
use of the product under the Florida Building Code and Florida'Building Code,Residential Volume. The products described
herein have been evaluated for compliance with the 51h Edition(2014)Florida Building Code sections noted herein.

4.1 Self-AdheringUnderlayments:
4.1.1 Boral TIIeSeai® Se Is a nominal 50-roil thick, polyester-surfaced, self-adhering SBS modified bitumen roof
underlayment-
4a.2 Boral TlIeSeaP HT is a nominal 60-mli thick, polyester-surfaced, self-adhering SBS modified bitumen roof
underlayment.
4.1.3 GatorSeal®is a nominal 5-5-mil thick,granular-surfaced,fiberglass reinforced,self-adhering SBS modified bitumen roof
underlayment.
4,1.4 StormSentry"'is a nominal 120-mil thick,mineral-surfaced,fiberglass reinforced,self-adhering SBS modified bitumen
roof underlayment.
4.1.5 Citadel®Plus is a nominal 48-mil thick, fabric-surfaced,fiberglass reinforced, self-adhering SBS modified bitumen
roofing underlayment for use as a base-layer in two-ply underlayment systems.

within FBC approval documents. If not listed,a request maybe made to,t:he AHJ for approval based on this evaluation
combined with supporting data forthe prepared roof covering. I.
5.5 Allowable roof covers applied atop Boral Roof Underlayments are follows. Table i pertains to use of each listed

5.6.2 Wind Resistance of Underlayment Systems in Foam-On Tile AooBcations: FRSA/TRi;Aprii 2012 (04-12) does not
address wind uplift resistance of all underlayment systems beneath foam-on tile syste s,where the underlayment
forms part of the load-path. The following wind uplift iimitations'apply to underlayment systems that are not
addressed in FRSA/TRI April 2012(04-12)and are used)ri foam-on tile;appllcatlons. Maximum Design Pressure is the
result of testing for wind load resistance based on allowable wind loads,and reflects the ultimate passing pressure
divided by 2(the 2 to 1 margin of safety per FBC 1504.9 has already been applied).Refer to FRSA/TRI April 2012(04-
12),Appendix A,Table 1A or FBC 1609 for determination of design wind loads.

5.7 Exposure Limitations:
5.7.1 GatorSeal shall not be left exposed for longer than 30-days after Installation,prior to placement of final roof cover.
5.7.2 StormSentry shall not be left exposed for longer than 90-days after installation,prior to placement of final roof cover.
5.7.3 Alcazar,Boral TileSeal 50HT and Boral TileSealHT shall not be left exposed for longer than 180-days after installation,
prior to placement of final roof cover.
5.7.4 Citadel Plus,for use as a base-layer in a two-ply underlayment system,shall not be left exposed for longer than 180-
days after Installation,prior to placement of subsequent underlayment layer.
6. INSTAi.1ATION:
6.1 Boral Roof 1lnderlayments shall be installed in accordance with Bore] Roofing published installation instructions
subject to the Limitations set forth in Section 5 herein and the specifics noted below.
612 Re-fasten any loose decking panels,and check for protruding nail heads. Sweep the substrate thoroughly to remove
any dust and debris prior to application,and prime the substrate(if applicable).
6.3 Install self-adhering underlayment when ambient and surface temperatures are minimum 407 and rising.
6.4 Citadel Mus:
6.4.1 Citadel Plus is limited to use as a base or mid-lageT in multi-ply underlayment systems beneath Boral TileSeal 50HT
Boral TIIeSeal HT,GatorSeal or StormSentry,
6.4.2 Slope limitations are those associated with the top-layer underlayment.
6.4.3 Direct to heck:
Cut the membrane into manageable lengths, typically 10 to 12 ft. Afign the membrane parallel to the roof edge,
extending over by X-inch.Fold the membrane away from the edge onto itself. Remove the release sheet.Place the
membrane with the exposed rubberized asphalt onto the deck, pressing firmly into place, Roll into place with a
weighted roller.
Boras recommends fastening of the top edge of the sheet to the deck with roofing nails, nails&tin-tags or 1-inch
diameter plastic or steel cap nails spaced 24-inch o.c.for slopes below 7a2 and 12-Inch o.c,for slopes 7:12 and
greater. Overlap successive courses minimum 2 inches(horizontai lap)and minimum 4"end(vertical)laps.
Install final underlayment layer atop Citadel Plus per 'direct-to-deck' Instructions for Boral TileSeal 50HT, Boral
TilesealHT GatorSeal or StormSentry.

6.6.2 Do not use GatorSeal on roof pitches less than 2:12. Do not use StdrmSentry on roof pitches less than Yt.,12 while

6_7 Boral TileSeal :
6.7.1 Install Boral TileSeal HT in compliance with manufacturer's published installation instructions and the requirements for
ASTM D1970 underlayments in FBC Sections 1507 for the type of prepared roof covering to be installed.
6.7.2 Do not use Borai TileSeal HT on roof pitches less than 2:12.
6.7.3 Non-TIleApplications,Direct to Deck:
For OSB substrate, prime with ASTM D41 primer and allow to dry prior to installation. Cut the membrane into
manageable lengths,typically 10 to 12 ft.Align the membrane parallel to the roof edge,extending over by%-inch.Fold
the membrane away from the edge onto itself. Remove the release sheet.Place the membrane with the exposed
rubberized asphalt onto the deck,•pressing firmly into place. Roll into place with a weighted roller.
Bore] recommends fastening of the black selvedge edge to the deck with roofing nails, nails &tin-tags or 1-inch
diameter plastic or steel cap nails spaced 24-inch o.c. for slopes below 7:12 and 12-inch o.c, for slopes 7:12 and
