Dear Building Official:
This letter is to advise Building Department that we have performed an inspection and
reviewing the photographs for the flat roof system work installation.
Based on our roof inspection, we found the following:
The Iso boards were fastened as follows:
The 1' zone was fastened with screws and plates 9 per board. The field was
fastened with screws and plates 12 per board. The perimeter was fastened was
fastened with screws and plates 12 per board. The corners were fastened with
screws and plates 12 per board. Two layers of All Weather membrane were hot
mopped to the insulation boards and the last layer of GMS modified was also hot
mopped over the roof system.
Based on our inspection and reviewing the roofing work, we can certify that the
referenced work has been performed in conformance with the permit and 2020 FBC 7`h
edition.
Please note we consider this letter an after the fact inspection to cover for inspections
normally performed by the building officials during roof construction. This inspection
does not cover roof drainage and does not provide a guarantee against roof leaks since
these are still responsibilities of the contractor.
