Sent: Wednesday, January 24, 2018 3:28 PM To: 'Mike Coffey' Subject: RE: permit 1711-0585 Good afternoon Mike, I am reviewing your request letter with the survey and numbers are not adding up with each other. In your letter you indicate that the 18" above center line road will bring your shed floor 6". above the floor of your house. However, the survey doesn't confirm that statement. Center line road = 4.5' 4.5' + 1.5' = 6' Finished floor elevation SFR=-6.35' Finished floor attached garage = 5.95 The reason of flooding the floor of your SFR might not be accepted since the floor of the SFR is higher than 18" above. center line road. Please correct the letter and adjust the reason for the request. Please be aware that only the enclosed shed has a finished floor requirement. The open carport/porch floor doesn't have to meet the 18". December 13, 2017 Attention: Leslie Olson This letter is in regards to the County Code 7.04.01 requiring bulildings to inches above the adjacent roadway. The concrete contractor determined floor is 12 inches above the crown of the road. The contractor recommer 4 inches lower that the attached garage floor. My concern with i he 18 inc put the shed floor 6 inches above my home floor which could potentially water runoff into my home as well as my neighbor to the north 1 . elevated 18 -ie attached garage s the shed floor be grade is that would a issue for rain When we moved here the road was shale rock which has been eshaled multiple times over the years. It has now been covered in millings. This may be part of the discrepancy of the floor -to -grade height. Thank you for your time, F Michael A. I don't know about the Revocable License Agreement and if he will still need it. I don't know what he decided to do with the shed. January 8 is the Abandonment request to the Board.
