RESPONCE TO PLUMBING COMMENTS Dear Mr. Smyth: i You requested a backflow protection at the coffee maker shown on the plans. The permit plans are now changed by this letter, to add a note to sheet P-1 as follows: AT COFFEE MAKER, CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE PROTECTION AGAINST j BACKFLOW AND CONTAMINATION OF THE WATER SUPPLY'SYSTEM: THE MEANS OF BACKFLOW PROTEDTION SHALL BE IN ACCORD WIL FLORIDA BUILDING f CODE, 2001, PLUMBING, SECTION 608.13 AND TABLE 608.1, AND AIR GAP TABLE. . 608.15.1. Regarding other Plumbing comments 1) Provide public access to Toilet Room. The floor plan I designed has a "public " hallway leading to the Toilet Room, and the dimensions comply with the - handicap Accessibility requirements. 2) Provide a drinking fountain or bottle water dispenser. I Sheet A-1 has a chart re: required/provided plumbing fixtures. It states, there will be a bottle i water dispenser provided. 3) Provide 1 Service Sink per Table 403.1. A bank is a Business Occupancy. Table 403.1 does not require a Service Sink for Business Occupancy. If you have any questions, u can call me at the numbers listed above.
