Install a new Kidde FX-5RD conventional, power limited, automatic sprinkler monitor system. The new system shall include automatic smoke detection, water flow initiation, manual pulls stations, horn/strobe, sprinkler bell, dialer and 24 hour standby batteries. 2. The system shall comply with the following codes and standards: FFPC (2018) FBC 7th Edition (2020) NFPA 1 (2018) NFPA 70 (2017) NFPA 72 (2016) NFPA 101 (2018) 3. This system will be a NEW REMOTE STATION SERVICE automatic sprinkler monitor system as per NFPA 72 chapter 26.5 (16). OCCUPANCY INFORMATION 1. The is a new Office/warehouse building occupancy type NFPA 101 "B'I with 8 single tenant contractors trade units. 2. This building has 1 occupied level. 3. This occupancy has a wet pipe fire sprinkler system with NO engine driven fire pump. 4. This occupancy has NO emergency electric driven back—up generator. KEY NOTES 1. Upon the activation of a automatic smoke detector, manual pull station, or a sprinkler water flow switch the FACP will activate general alarm turning on all the horn/strobe light notification devices. The FACP will display the fire alarm location per zone, illuminate the alarm LED. The Dialer will call the Central Station that will dispatch Emergency Forces. 2. Upon the activation of a sprinkler tamper switch in the "off normal" condition, the FACP will activate supervisory alarm. The FACP will display the supervisory alarm location per zone and illuminate the supervisory LED. The Dialer will call the Listed Central Station that will contact the facility manager at the protected premises. 3. The FACP will monitor the system for open field wiring, grounds on system wiring, AC power failure, low battery voltage. All system troubles will activate a trouble alarm at the FACP. The FACP will display the trouble condition, illuminate the trouble LED and the Dialer will call and will verify the signal with the facility. NOTIFICATION SEQUENCE OF OPERATION 1. Upon the activation of the alarm silence switch at the FACP, all audio and visual notification devices will turn off. Subsequent activation of a new initiating zone shale cause the silenced audio and visual notification devices to reactivate. 2. Water flow bell sequence of operation: a. The flow bell shall sound upon the activation of a sprinkler water flow switch only. b. The flow bell shall sound as long as the water is flowing. c. This is a new Remote Station Service Automatic Sprinkler Monitor System with 24 Hour Stand-by and Dialer. 3. All smoke detectors shall be located at least 3' away from all AC diffusers and doors. 4. The horn strobe notification appliances shall be installed wall mounted between the heights of 80 to 96 inches above the finished floor. All audible and visual devices are synchronized and the audible signal is temporal pattern. 5. Use 3/4" EMT to protect the fire alarm cable from physical damage. 6. Paint all fire alarm junction box covers red. 7. All equipment is compatible and U.L. listed for fire alarm system use. 8.
