There Is a $50.00 fee for the Change of Contractor. CHANGE OF SUBCONTRACTOR — Subcontractor changes are to be completed by the general contractor. The new subcontractor must fill out a Subcontractor Agreement Form. There is a $50.00 fee for the Change of Sub - Con nactor. CANCELLATION OF PERMIT — The cancellation of a permit is acceptable only if no work has been done. anceilation of permit is to be signed and notarized by both the owner and qualifier of record. St Lucie -County Land Development code section 11.05,01 (A) (2) states: A building permit shall expire and become null and void if work authorized by such building permits is not commenced having called for and received satisfactory inspection within six (0) months from the date of issuance of the permit and if the work is not completed within (18) eighteen months from the date of issuance of the building permit.
