Dear Mr. Manero:
The home remodel above is not expanding the existing structural footprint. Part of the rear existing home is
being demolished, but it is being replaced by new on the same footprint, as detailed on the permitted plans.
The existing soils/ground under the demoition area have demonstrated to be acceptable to the applied loads and
with no change in loading or ground area being loaded with this remodel, soils testing is not required for this
home remodel.
