VEGETATION REMOVAL
PERMIT
THE APPLICANT SHALL KEEP THIS PERMIT POSTED ON-SITE AT ALL TIMES DURING
LAND CLEARING.
ERD Permit#: 20210898 Fee: $200.00
Building Permit#: 2109-0177
Date Issued: 11/19/2021
Date Expires: Upon completion of work or 11/19/2022
Property Owner: Seaside 20, LLC
Project Location: 7650 S. Ocean Drive, Jensen Beach
Parcel ID#: 3522-342-0002-000-7 (Code View has incorrectly identified parcel ID: 3522-343-0001-000-3 as the
location for the sales trailer)
Property Size Total: 6.85 acres
Contractor: TBD
Project Description: Applicant requests a Vegetation Removal Permit for the removal of non-native vegetation
for the construction of a 60’ x 12’ sales trailer with associated parking, stormwater, and landscape improvements
in association with Building Permit #2109-0177 on a 6.85-acre parcel. This is a minor adjustment to minor site
plan (SPMn-8202126106) which has been DRC Certified and is being routed through the final PDS Order
approval process to an approved development project, known as Ouanalao Seaside Resort (MJSP-
12202025912). While the state-listed gopher tortoise has been confirmed onsite by way of an updated 100%
gopher tortoise survey dated October 19, 2021, provided by the applicant, ERD staff confirmed no listed species,
including the gopher tortoise, are present within proposed sales trailer location. Additionally, no intact native
habitats will be impacted, as the proposed development area consists primarily of disturbed lands which were
cleared as part of the previously approved Tesoro Major Site Plan and the current proposed trailer will be placed
in the same location as the previously approved sales trailer. No mitigation is required at this time, as no native
vegetation will be impacted. Per Land Development Code 6.00.05, this request qualifies for issuance of a
Vegetation Removal Permit. No impacts to any native vegetation are permitted at this time.
****ANY NATIVE VEGETATION DESTROYED OR DAMAGED OUTSIDE THE LIMITS OF THIS PERMIT DUE TO CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES OR
FILL PLACEMENT SHALL BE MITIGATED AT A RATIO OF 4:1 (4 INCHES OF REPLANTING FOR EACH INCH DESTROYED OR DAMAGED)****
