Our office has personally inspected the Porch Alterations on 1/21/21 at the above referenced address per scope below:
1. Existing 1x non structural framing was removed
2. Framing as follows:
- 44 PT posts attached with Simpson ABU44 w/(12)-16d nails'and(1)5/8"A.B.at bottom to foundation,posts
wrapped w/2x framing at 16"o.c.max w/%"x 1%"embd.lags at 24"o.c.and finished w/stucco on wirelath
w/11ga x 2"nails w/3/8"dia.head at 6"o.c.over tyvak bldg..wrap on 15/32"cdx plywood sheathing w/10d
nails at 6"o.c.
- 4x6 header attached to end post w/Simpson PC44 w/(18)-10d nails and Simpson HUSC46 w/(8)-16d nails
- 2x6 rafters at 24"o.c.w/Simpson MT520 w/(14)-10d nails to 46 beam and Simpson HUS26 w/(6)-10d nails
at existing rafter
- 2x8 RSC fascia and stucco soffit to truss tails w/wirelath w/11ga x 2"long nails with 3/8"dia.head at 6"o.c.
over 30#felt
- Fiberglass shingle roof w/ 1 %" roofing nails (6) per tab on 30#felt w/tin tabs at 6" o.c. at laps and (2)
staggered rows at 12"o.c.and the drip edge/valley metals w/.1%"roofing nails at 4"o.c.over 19/32"cdx
plywood sheathing w/8d ringshank nails at 4"o.c.perimeters and corners and 6"o.c.in the field
Our office finds that all work meets the FBC and FRC 2020,71h Edition and our engineering requirements.
