INVITES YOU TO A PUBLIC MEETING
State Road (SR) 713 / Kings Highway from North of I‐95 Overpass to North of St. Lucie Boulevard

The Florida Department of TransportaƟon (FDOT), District Four, will conduct a Public MeeƟng regarding the above referenced
project. The public meeƟng will be offered in two different formats: virtual and in‐person at the same Ɵme. The public meeƟng will
have representaƟves available to answer quesƟons. Project informaƟon will be available for public viewing. The presentaƟon will
begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by a quesƟon and answer period. QuesƟons and comments may also be submiƩed prior to the
meeƟng by emailing the Project Manager. Project informaƟon is posted on the project’s website at hƩps://www.d4fdot.com/

PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS
ConstrucƟon along Kings Highway consists of replacing
the exisƟng two lane undivided rural roadway with a
newly constructed four‐lane suburban divided roadway
The proposed roadway will have:
A 30‐foot wide median (22‐foot wide raised plus
two 4‐foot paved shoulders)
Curb and guƩers along the inside and outside
7‐foot wide outside paved shoulders for use as
bike lanes
12‐foot wide shared use path adjacent to the road
along the west side
6‐foot wide sidewalk along the east side
New lighƟng system
New drainage system
New flat slab bridges over the C‐25 canal and
Canal No.1
NSLRWCD Canal 32E will be shiŌed to the east
FPFWCD Canal No. 4 will be shiŌed to the west
IntersecƟon Improvements at Angle Road & St. Lucie
Boulevard

Work will be done in phases to reduce the effects of
construcƟon impacts to the community

will be necessary

CONSTRUCTION INFORMATION
SR 713 from north of I‐95 Overpass to north of Commercial
Circle:
ConstrucƟon scheduled to begin in Fall of 2026 and
expected to be completed by Fall 2030
Cost EsƟmate: $61 million
SR 713 from north of Commercial Circle to north of St. Lucie
Boulevard
