SUBJECT: Partial Reroof at 762 SE River Ln., Port St Lucie, FL.
To Whom it May Concern,
I have reviewed the partial roof repair at the subject parcel. In accordance with Section 706,
Existing Roofing, the repair meets the General Conditions of the Section. Not more than 25% of
the total roof area was repaired and the existing minimum slope meets or exceeds one -quarter
unit vertical in 12 units horizontal.
Photos of the demolition and reroof efforts have been provided which adequately reflect the repair
was done according to current design and construction methodologies. Specifics for the
construction methodology include:
1. All damaged sheathing was removed and replaced. (photos available upon request)
2. Renail of sheathing at 4" o.c. @ seams and 6" o.c, in the field. (photos available upon
request)
3. Flat Roof was completed to code with Florida Approved Manufacturer/System
Miami Dade NOA attached with System specifications. (photos of each step available
upon request)
4. 1 ply of Polyglass Elastobase fastened with 12 ga. annular ring shanked nails and 1-5/8"
tin -caps 6" o.c. in 4" lap and 6" o.c. in four equally spaced staggered rows.
5. 1 ply of Polyglass Elastoflex SA V self -adhered.
6. 26 GA drip edge fastened 4" o.c. with 12 ga 1 1/4" ring shanked nails. (primed prior to
cap sheet)
7. 1 ply of Polyglass Elastoflex SA P, seams and edges Heat Welded.
Repair methodology was based on approved Miami -Dade County NOA No. 17-1004.09.
I have reviewed the photos along with methods of construction and would recommend
acceptanc r��� f��� o meet or exceed current Building Code criteria.
