Project Name: Barclay Beach Club Progress Report thru 5-21-21
Project Address: 2800 SR-Al A, Hutchinson Island Inspection Visits: 5-21-21
Prime Contractor: Blue Coast Construction

INSPECTOR'S REPORT
Keystone Engineering visited the site on 5-21-21 and had several conversations with the
construction team by telephone throughout the week.
The contractor mobilized a storage trailer, dumpster, and other equipment on site. Workers
installed swing stages on the northeast corner stack and on the three southeast balcony
stacks. The construction crew removed tile and coatings from several units this week
and are still in progress. Damage inspections and marks for repair are in progress on the
04 and 06 balcony stacks. Many units on the 04 stack have damage near the door
thresholds, several may require to be removed in order to repair the damage. Next week
the crew will begin new excavations for the inspected balconies.

INSPECTOR'S REPORT
Keystone Engineering visited the site on 5-24, 5-27-21, and had several conversations with the
construction team by telephone throughout the week.
This week the 07 stack and the remaining units on the 04 and 06 stack were inspected and
marked for repairs. New excavations are in progress on the 04 and 06 stack. The
construction crew has opened many repairs in front of the doors to reveal the conditions
under the thresholds. Severe spalling and corroded reinforcement can be observed
under several thresholds. Severe corrosion and spalling under a door threshold normally
indicate the door track is leaking water into the concrete. The slab reinforcement running
under a door is important to repair because it is an area of high stress for cantilevered
balconies. Tile and coating removal are in progress on the other southeast stacks. Once
balconies are stripped to bare concrete damage inspections and marks for repair will
continue.
