This week Keystone Engineering inspected the door thresholds from the interior in several units on the 04 and 05 balcony stacks, more door thresholds were also inspected from the exterior on the 06 stack. Cast backs were completed for Units 904, 1004, and PH03 where waterproofing and door installations are finishing up. The construction crew is applying a layer of waterproofing under door thresholds before reinstalling the tracks. Cast backs were also completed for Units 606, 706, and 906 where door reinstallations are in progress. Concrete repairs are in progress for Units 1007, PH04, and PH05. Workers removed sliding glass doors and installed interior barricades to chase the corroded reinforcement and spalled concrete through excavations. Once excavations reach good concrete and cleaner steel the damage has been completely removed. A pre-pour inspection was completed on Thursday and cast backs are in progress. The construction crew started storm prep at the end of the week. Units with interior barricades for removed doors will have an additional plywood wall installed over the door frame on the outside. The construction crew secured equipment and removed the swing stages. Once the building was clear of the storm the crew reinstalled the swing stages and resumed work. New excavations revealed the conditions under doors on the 07 stack, Keystone Engineering inspected the concrete to determine which doors need removed for repairs. Interior barricades were installed for Units 804 and 506, where doors were removed and excavations are now in progress.
