The construction crew cast back the 07 stack repairs and finished the stucco applications on the 06 stack. Workers removed all the handrails on the 06 stack, which revealed edge spalls that were missed before. New excavations are now in progress to repair concrete damage on the edge of several 06 units. The crew removed sliding glass doors and completed new excavations on the Unit 805 balcony, steel prep and form installations are in progress. Workers cast back the remaining repairs on the Unit 404 and 204 balconies. Progress Inspection Report #16 Permit #SLC 2102-0371 Project Name: Barclay Beach Club Progress Report thru 9-3-21 Project Address: 2800 SR-Al A, Hutchinson Island Inspection Visits: 9-2-21 Prime Contractor: Blue Coast Construction Superintendent: Rafael Rodriguez Activities in-progress: 06 stack cast backs, 07 stack stucco applications, Unit 605 and 405 door removal and demo, Unit 805, 404, and 904 door reinstallations INSPECTOR'S REPORT Keystone Engineering visited the site on 9-2-21 and had several conversations with the construction team by telephone throughout the week. This week the construction crew finished excavating the new edge spalls on the 06 stack, prepped the steel, and cast back the repairs. Stucco applications are nearly complete on the 07 stack. After cast backs were completed on the Unit 805 balcony workers reinstalled the sliding glass doors. Door reinstallations and interior barricade removal are also in progress on the Unit 404 and 904 balconies except for where the damaged column is on the Unit 404 balcony. The crew installed interior barricades and removed sliding glass doors on the Unit 605 and 405 balconies. New excavations were completed on the Unit 605 balcony and are in progress for 405.
