Phone: 321-454-7300 Progress Inspection Report #19 Permit #SLC 2102-0371 Project Name: Barclay Beach Cl ub Progress Report thru 9-24-21 Project Address: 2800 SR-A1A, Hutchinson Island Inspection Visits: 9-24-21 Prime Contractor: Blue Coast Construction Superintendent: Rafael Rodriguez Activities in-progress: 04 stack new excavations, 07 stack waterproofing and knockdown textures, and 05 stack form stripping INSPECTOR'S REPORT Keystone Engineering visited the site on 9-24-21 and had several conversations with the construction team by telephone throughout the week. This week new spalls were discovered on the 04 stack and new excavations have been completed. Spalls may have been easier to see after the handrails were removed or are now revealing after the vibration of the excavations throughout the stack during the project. Severe spalling was observed above a sliding glass door on the Unit 604 balcony, the contractor will need to build an interior barricade and remove the door to allow access for excavation. Workers removed the mesh protection from the 05 stack and stripped the forms from the recent cast backs. Waterproofing and knockdown texture applications are in progress on the 07 stack. Progress Inspection Report #20 Permit #SLC 2102-0371 Project Name: Barclay Beach Club Progress Report thru 10-1-21 Project Address: 2800 SR-Al A, Hutchinson Island Inspection Visits: 9-30-21 Prime Contractor: Blue Coast Construction Superintendent: Rafael Rodriguez Activities in-progress: 06 and 07 stack waterproofing, texturing, and painting, 05 stack handrail removal and painting, 04 stack final repairs INSPECTOR'S REPORT Keystone Engineering visited the site on 9-30-21 and had several conversations with the construction team by telephone throughout the week. Waterproofing applications were completed on the 06 and 07 balcony stacks, knockdown textures are still in progress. Painting is also in progress on the walls and ceilings for the 06 stack. This week the construction crew removed the existing handrails on the 05 stack and are painting the new stucco applications to prep surfaces for shutter track reinstallations. New excavations were completed where the new spalling was discovered above the Unit 604 sliding glass door. Workers prepped the existing reinforcement and cast back the repair this week.
