RE: Nettles Lot 465
Monica,
The story is a little different.
Originally the MH was approved with fiberglass steps. The home owner requested the contractor to increase the height
of the FFE from the required 6' to 8.8'. the fiberglass steps didn't reach the finished floor so they submitted a revision to
change the fiberglass steps into wood steps. The revision was only reviewed by the plans examiner and not by. During
inspection the inspector red tagged the MH because the steps and landing in the rear were not matching plans. He
required the contractor to submit a survey. The survey came to my desk and I denied the survey based on the fact that
the MH moved 0.5' up to the front property line and therefore was encroaching in the 18' parking space. The front steps
were encroaching in the 2"d parking space (not the landing). The rear landing and steps are totally different than
originally approved, however, the new lay -out was discussed with Leslie and she determined that we could approved
that part. The steps are not going over the 10%. 1 discussed the situation with the contractor and he informed me that
since the MH is so high it is possible to park partly under the MH. They only need 1' and we normally allow them 3'. The
steps encroaching the 2"d parking space will be cut down a little so they will not encroach any longer. This was discussed
with Carl and determined not to be a problem. The contractor was going to take care of this and resubmit pictures and
info which I haven't received yet.
Above situation was discussed with someone from Nettles HOA, I can't remember the name.

Hi,
Let me know if you know anything on the below matter......
Is anyone aware of a variance filed for the above subject lot on Nettles Island? Nettle POA has called
me stating the homeowner has built something different re: exterior stairs from the permit and
approved plans that they have on file.
l
However, the homeowner has stated to Nettles POA that the county has approved the change. As
we all know, prior to the issuance of a permit for Nettles, staff must receive approval in the form of a
stamped/approved plan from the POA.
Irvie, would you please get me the permit file to review.
Thanks
Monica Graziani
