I delivered a certified copy of the recorded deed to both the Planning' Department and the Property Appraiser's office. The Planning Dept. assured me that the issuance of the final lot split approval letter would not delay the permit review process. I met with Joyce in the Mapping Department of the Property Appraiser's office and submitted to her the St. Lucie County Property Appraiser Request for Real Property Split application, together with the preliminary approval letter of the lot split from the Planning Department, verification that the property taxes are paid and current, survey and a certified copy of the attached recorded deed. She informed me that she would start working on getting us parcel identification numbers this afternoon, and if I don't hear from her in 24 hours I will call to follow up. She intends to call me to provide the identification numbers to me verbally over the phone.
