UES Project No. 3310.2100267.0000
Dear Mr. Zakhodin:
Universal Engineering Sciences (UES) performed a geotechnical exploration (soil borings) on the above
referenced lot and performed density tests on fill material used to raise the site to design grade. The results
of our testing indicate the fill has been compacted throughout its depth and fill soil and site preparation were
performed in accordance with our geotechnical report and recommendations.
Based on our observations and the results of boring and density tests, it is UES’s professional opinion that
the above referenced building pad is suitable for the construction of the planned townhome residence with
foundations proportioned for a maximum allowable design bearing pressure of 2,500 pounds per square foot
(psf) without experiencing settlement detrimental to the proposed residential structure. It is UES’s opinion
that the settlement will not exceed one inch.
UES appreciates the opportunity to assist you during this phase of the project. Please contact us if you have
any questions or require additional information.
Respectfully Submitted,
Universal Engineering Sciences
