Precautionary measures shall be utilized to ensure that existing native vegetation in this area is not impacted or harmed. 2. Landscaping buffers shall be provided along the south and east property lines as follows: a. A native hedge shall, be installed so as to form a continuous visual buffer. The plant material shall be an appropriate drought tolerant species, such as native green/silver button wood, cocoplum, orseagrapes. The hedge material shall measUre'24 inches tall at the time of planting and be maintained at 4 ft. tall in perpetuity. This material .shall be irrigated. for a period of three (3) months or until it is established in order to ensure its survival. b. One (1) native shade tree every 30 linear.feet shall be installed. Existing trees such as oaks can be'utilized to meet 9 portion of this requirement. Trees shall be an appropriate drought tolerant species, such as live oak, scrub oaks, sand pine, or slash pines. Trees shall measure twelve feet (12) in height and two and one-half inches diameter at breast height (2.5" dbh) at the time of planting and be maintained -at 4 ft. -tall in perpetuity. Trees shall not be planted so 'as to interfere with the overhead power lines as, they grow. c. All plant ;materials shall be irrigated for a period of three (3) months or until it is' established in order to ensure its survival. d.
