This site is classified as 2.53 acres of Woody Wetlands, .55 acres of developed open space and .13 acres of cultivated crops for a total of 3.21 acres. This land is bordered by an existing residence on the north. The west, south and east sides are undeveloped land. The south side has a ditch that runs along the entire length of the property. There are various species of trees creating a thick canopy throughout the property allowing little sunlight through. There is little to no herbaceous ground cover. There are several areas that appear to be wetlands although they are not holding water at this time. There is also evidence of a large feral pig presence as most of the property has been uprooted. The 100% survey was completed by starting on the northwest corner and heading to the northeast corner. The survey crew then located both the southeast and southwest corners. Once all 4 corners have been established, the survey team runs in 2-4' transect paths east and west (starting on the south end) over the entire site until the whole parcel has been surveyed. There were no GT burrows located during the survey. Per FWC, silt fence is required to be installed along the perimeter of the site prior to construction to prevent any local GT's from entering the site and beginning a new burrow.
