Dear Mr. Machado:
Please see attached detail for how to tie down the 250 gallon underground tank
at the referenced site. The following are general notes concerning the attached
drawing.
1. Prior to installing the earth augers, check for underground utilities.
2. Earth auger and cables shown are designed to resist buoyancy forces
from an empty tank fully submerged.
3. Earth augers type and length is dependent of Soil Class. For this site soil
is assumed as Class 4 Soil. If the onsite soils are not Class 4, engineer is
to be notified.
4. Earth auger shall have a tested minimum pull out value of 3000 lbs.
5. Location of tanks are dependent on local codes and are the responsibility
of the persons obtaining the permit.
Please accept this letter as certification that it is our intent to meet the regulations
as specified in Section 930.07(2)(g) of Indian River County's Land Development
Code.
