Remove existing roofing and install new 5-V Crimp Metal Roof (Gulf Coast Supply &
Manufacturing FL # 11651.13) at above referenced residence address over new underlayment
and existing plywood sheathing.

METAL ROOFING ATTACHMENT REOUIREMENTS:
Metal roofing to be attached with #9 -15 x 1 %2" long (minimum Y4" penetration through
plywood sheathing) Woodgrip screws with weather sealing washers spacing as follows:
ZONE 1(Field):
Fasteners through ribs (Type 1 per product approval) at 16" O.C. .
ZONE 2 (Perimeter/ Ridge):
Fasteners 4hrough ribs (Type 1 per product approval) at 16" O.C.
ZONE 3 (Corners):
Fasteners adjacent to ribs both sides (Type 2 per product approval) at 16" O.C.
Zones 1 &. 2 Design uplift Pressure: -94.25 psf
Zone 3 Design uplift Pressure: - 131.0 psf

UNDERLAYMENT•
Underlayment shall be Tri-Built Roofing Products FL# 16048.11 "Tri-Built S/A HT TU".
While priming is optional, TRI-BUILT recommends priming the deck if the final roof cover is
not slated for installation within 24 hours.

Apply sheet parallel to the roof edge. Roll out approximately 10 ft of membrane and peel back
the first 3 ft of release film.
Adhere the exposed part to the substiate and unroll the remaining membrane as far as possible.
Once the entire length of membrane is in place, peel -off the release film diagonally while
holding the membrane tight. Firmly roll the membrane into place to achieve a bond. Horizontal
seams should be minimum 3-inches, configured to shed water. Vertical seams should be 6inches
and staggered not less than 2-ft from vertical seams in the course below. All over -granule end -
laps shall be sealed using either heat -welding or hot air welding techniques. For Valleys and
Ridges: Cut underlayment into 4 to 6 foot lengths. Peel the release paper and center sheet over
valley or ridge. Drape and press sheet into place, working from the center of the valley or ridge
in each direction. For valleys, apply the sheet starting at the lowest point and work upward.

DECK INSTALLATION:
Re -nail all plywood sheathing (15/32" thick minimum) with 8D ring -shank nails at 4" O.C.
perimeter and 6" O.C. field for all zones.
All work to be in compliance with product approval (FL # 11651.13), (FL# 16048.1),
manufacturer's specifications, and the Florida Building Code 2014.
