A situation, which causes difficulty in diagram selection, is the presence of vinyl or aluminum
skirting installed around a manufactured home supported by piers.

FEMA Publication 467-1 addresses this situation and the diagram selection is effected. Question
number 16 in the publication asks the question, which diagram should be used for manufactured
homes that have vinyl or aluminum skirting? The question is answered as .follaws: - "'If the• v, l
or alu thin s ' ing is purely for decorative purposes, the skirting can be disregarded and

Comments section whether the manufactured home includes trinyl or aluminum skirting.
