All work to be done, by licensed contractors with permit, in accordance with Florida Building Code 2020 (FBC), pursuant to OSHA safety guidelines. 2. Design Parameters: Category II; Exposure'C'; Elevation <15'; Ult. Wind Velocity 170 mph 3. Field verify all dimensions. 4. Cordon off work area during construction and following all OSHA guidelines. 5. Remove grill and vents over cooking area. Stub out the electrical lines per FBC and OSHA guidelines. 6. Saw -cut and remove masonry block wall in the indicated area to create a pass -through opening, starting from just below the existing tie beam. 7. Install one course of bond beam (8" x 8").with one #5 bar at the sill level of the new opening. The bar should be dowelled into fill cells on both sides with epoxy (min. 4" embedment). 8. The bond beam should be grouted with 3000 psi non -shrink grout. 9. Finish the saw -cut surfaces and apply repair mortar. 10. Apply stucco, paint and finish to match surrounding. 11. If field conditions different from what is enumerated here is encountered in the field, engineer should be notified immediately, so that he may review the condition and make appropriate modifications.
