Vero Beach, FL 32966 RE: Permit # 1309-0097 Dear Mr. Weber: PLAWN0 & DEVELOPMENT SERVDCES DEPARTMENT P�anno ng D�vWon Please accept this letter in response to your written request received October 2, 2013 to waive the finished floor elevation of 18" above the crown of the road for the addition to an existing building located at 3327 Perimeter Rd. Palm City, FL 34990. Pursuant to Section 7.04.01(C-3) of the St Lucie County Land Development Code, the Planning and Development Services Director has the authority to grant the administrative relief for residential structures, when topographical conditions are such that compliance with this subsection would be impracticable or cause grade level conditions detrimental to adjacent or nearby property, consistent with the intent of the Flood Protection regulations and any other applicable portion of this Code. The Planning and Development Services Director has granted your request for administrative relief of the finished floor elevation based on the following determinations: 1) The property is not in a Flood Zone. - 2) The requirements of the code would create problems for adjacent properties. 3) Compliance would be impracticable. 4) The proposed finished floor elevation will be 11.74' which is 0.63' less than the 18" above the crown of the road. The average crown of the road is 10.87'. 5) The proposed finished floor elevation will be level with the two existing structures the addition is connecting. This approval does not in any way constitute authorization to begin construction. Prior to the commencement of any construction on this property, an application for specific building permit must be obtained from this department.
