This letter shall serve as certification that for the subject project, the soils under the footers for the
bearing walls have been improved with pressure compaction in accordance with the parameters of
the soil investigation by KSM Engineering and Testing Project 170997-b. The footers received
injection points spaced between 5 and 6 feet, where bearing improvement was required as
coordinated on the field and in accordance with the structural drawings; the pressure grouting
injection consisted of a cement base mixture in a 2:1 proportion injected at low velocity to 4 to 7
feet of depth, to a maximum of 30 psi of pressure.
