RE: Permit 91707-0599
114 Queen Bess Court, Fort Pierce, Florida
Bacci Residence
Contractor: Ameron Homes
To Whom It May Concern:
The Grading Plan for the above -referenced new home recently completed and applying for a
Certificate of Occupancy, calls for (3) areas of storm water retention. These proposed (3) areas
will provide approximately 480 cu. ft. of storm water retention ((318 cu. ft. required) reference
approved Grading Plan).
After a review of the final survey revision dated 8.1.18, by Know it Now, Inc., Professional
Surveying and Mapping, the proposed (3) areas of retention are now (1) area. The storm water will
now be directed toward the Indian River and not onto adjoining properties. The existing wood
seawall with a height of 2.70' +/- and the grade landward of the seawall at 2.15' +/-, indicates a
Swale along this seawall of approximately 130' in length and approximately 10' wide and 6"-7"
below the top of the seawall. This will provide approximately 358 cu. ft. of storm water retention,
which satisfies the retention required of 318 cu. ft.
It is my understanding that the wood seawall is now being replaced with a concrete seawall. The
engineered drawings for this new seawall, as provided by others, should provide and/or maintain
this retention/swale area.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
