Dear Sir:
I have reviewed pictures of the steel rfeinforcing in the exterior front entry stairs. The mat, by verbal
explanation, tieing into the grade beams is more than satisfactory to support the stairs. The steel
reinforcing in the stair is more than adequate. Detail 5/S-6 was done more to show the stair steel and not
so much for the foundation as this varies quite a bit depending on the location of each stair.
