Additional alarms shall be received, annunciated and shall initiate automatic response functions associated exclusively with subsequent alarm. Common alarm functions shall not be reinitiated unless the first alarm is returned to normal. The actuation of the fire alarm initiating device shall automatically initiate the functions detailed below: 1. Activation of Manual Fire Alarm Stations shall initiate the following functions: a. Transmit a fire alarm signal to a designated third party Remote Station by way of the Wireless Communicator, b. Indicate the location of the device by zone on the control panel and on the remote annunciator. c. Cause an audible signal at the control panel. d. Transmit an audible and visual alarm signal to all areas of the building simultaneously. e.lnitiate relay activation of all auxiliary relays controls (i.e. for shutdown, etc.). 2. Activation of Smoke Detectors, shall initiate the following: a. Transmit a fire alarm signal to a designated third party Remote Station by way of the Wireless Communicator. b. Indicate the location of the device by zone on the control panel and on the remote annunciator. c. Cause an audible signal at the control panel. d. Transmit an audible and visual alarm signal to all areas of the building simultaneously. e. Initiate relay activation of all auxiliary relays controls (i.e. for shutdown, etc.). 3. Water Flow switches shall initiate the following: a. Transmit a fire alarm signal to a designated third party Remote Station by way of the Wireless Communicator. b. Indicate the location of the device by zone on the control panel and on the remote annunciator. c. Cause an audible signal at the control panel. d. Transmit an audible and visual alarm signal to all areas of the building simultaneously. e. e. Initiate relay activation of all auxiliary relays controls (i.e. for shutdown, etc.). f. Initiate sprinkler bell on exterior of building. Waterflow bell is to remain active as long as water is flowing, 4. Actuation of any supervisory device shall automatically initiate the following functions: a. Transmit a supervisory signal to a designated third party Remote Station by way of the Wireless Communicator. b. Sound an audible supervisory signal at the control panel. c. Initiate the location of the device by zone on the control panel and on the remote annunciator. Replace existing addressable Fire Alarm system for Contender Boats, located at 5701 Environmental Drive, Fort Pierce, Florida. A Firelite ES-20OX Fire Alarm Control Panel will be provided with a 24hr. battery backup. This is a Remote Station (NFPA 72, 8.5) fire alarm system. Perform the installation and start-up of the fire alarm system and a complete system test in accordance with NFPA72 Record of Completion (NFPA72, 7.8.2(a)). Perform the inspections required to be witnessed by the AHJ for final inspection. Wireless cellular communicator will be provided for connection to the Listed Central Station as permitted by NFPA 72 8.6.3.2.3. The internal FRCP mounted DACT communicates its transmission sequence (contact ID) via Line1 or Line2 to the Wireless transmitter. The wireless transmitter sends a radio signal through the Honeywell Alarmnet GSM network which sends the signal (contact ID) to the Listed Central Station Service. The DACT test signals will generate once every 24hours. • Failure to of five attempts to communicate with the Central Station Service will result in an trouble signal. All external circuits extending from this fire alarm system are CLASS "B", power limited. This fire alarm system will be installed in conduit. Installation of wiring, conduit and conduit stub -ups, and devices for this fire alarm system shall be installed in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and all applicable building codes and standards. COMPLIANCE The design and installation of the Fire Alarm System shall comply with: 2017 NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), 2016 NFPA 72 (Fire Alarm Code), 2020 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, 7TH EDITION 2020 FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION CODE, 7TH EDITION All system components are UL listed for their intended use and compatibility. POWER LIMITED FIRE ALARM CIRCUITS AND CLASS 2 CIRCUITS (Low -Energy 100VA or less/ Low -Voltage under 30V) ARE PERMITTED WITHIN THE SAME CABLE, ENCLOSURE OR RACEWAY IF THE INSULATION OF THE CLASS 2 CIRCUIT CONDUCTORS IS AT LEAST THAT REQUIRED BY THE POWER LIMITED FIRE ALARM CIRCUIT. POWER LIMITED FIRE ALARM CIRCUITS AND LOW POWER NETWORK BROADBAND COMMUNICATIONS CIRCUITS ARE PERMITTED IN THE SAME ENCLOSURE OR RACEWAY. POWER LIMITED FIRE ALARM CABLES SHALL NOT BE PLACED IN THE SAME CABLE TRAY, ENCLOSUURE, DEVICE BOX, RACEWAY, ETC AS CIRCUITS FOR ELECTRIC LIGHT, CLASS 1, NON -POWER LIMITED FIRE ALARM, AND MEDIUM POWER NETWORK -POWERED BROADBAND COMMUNICATIONS CIRCUITS CONDUCTORS, EXCEPT:. IF SEPERATED BY A BARRIER IN A RACEWAY WITHIN AN ENCLOSURE IN ENCLOSURES, DEVICE BOXES, ETC. WHERE THEY ARE INTRODUCED SOLET1' TO CONNECT THE EQUIPMENT CONNECTED TO POWER LIMITED FIRE ALARM CIRCUITS AND MAINTAIN A MINIMUM OF .25" SEPARATION POWER LIMITED FIRE ALARM CABLES AND IN TIJE CAAdE CABLE TRAY, ENCLOSUURE, DEVICE BOX, RACEWAY, ETC AS CIRCUITS FOR ELECTRIC LIGHT, CLASS 1, NON -POWER LIMITED FIRE ALARM, AND MEDIUM POWER NETWORK -POWERED BROADBAND COMMUNICATIONS CIRCUITS CONDUCTORS MUST MAINTAIN A MINIMUM OF 2" SEPARATION FOR ALL OTHER APPLICATIONS.
