The original permit #0709-0002 for the Peters residence was issued on September 04, 2007, by the
St. Lucie Building Department. The new construction of the detached garage was approved under
this permit.
During construction, the building department performed the necessary inspections required to
complete the building. The following inspections performed in connection with the detached garage
are:
• Form Board Inspection on 03/27/2008 — passed.
• Column Inspection on 09/13/2016 - passed. _
• Tie Beam Inspection on 09/13/2016 — passed. '
• Roof Sheathing Inspection on 04/25/2017 - passed. ��'

• Strapping Inspection on 08/28/2017 - passed.+'
• Wall Sheathing Inspection on 08/28/2017 - passed.
• - Roof Dry -In and Tin Tab Inspection on 08/28/2017- passed.

Don Green Electric performed an electrical inspection of the electrical work completed under the
above referenced permit. Enclosed is a copy of his electrical certification that verifies that the work
is in compliance with the current codes.
Owner has purchased 2 new garage doors and one man -door to install in the new garage.
The garage doors are manufactured by Clopay Building Products Company and have a current
Miami -Dade County Product Approval No. 20-0922.53, and meet the current 2020 Florida Building
Code (71h Edition). The owner has not installed the new garage doors nor the man -door and will do
so once the permit has been issued.
It is our understanding that once the permit is issued the remaining inspections required to close-out
the permit will be performed by the building department:
• Window/Door Attachment Inspection. (once installed by owner who will call in for
inspection)
• Roof Final.
• Electrical Final.
• Final Building Inspection.

Pursuant to a meeting on December 14, 2021 between the client and the building department, the
following documentation was requested from Mr. Ron Peters in order to reopen the permit to
complete the detached garage and close it out. The following documentation is enclosed:
• Signed and sealed truss package and calculations by MiTek USA, Inc. See attached truss
documents that have been calculated to meet the current codes.
• Copy of the Florida Product Approval (FL22513-R3) for garage man -door manufactured by
Masonite International to be installed.
• Copy of Miami -Dade product approval NOA #20-0922.53 for the 2 new Clopay garage
doors to be installed.
• Cover Sheet of the original permitted and approved plans revised to show current code
provisions of 2020 Florida Building Code (7th Edition) in order for the owner to install the

RE: Electrical Inspection of Garage at 4220 Rose Lane
Dear Mr. Peters:
On January 19, 2022, Don Green, Owner of Don Green Electric (EC13007447)
and licensed electrical inspector (BN7301), performed an evaluation and inspection of
the electrical in the garage area of 4220 Rose Lane.
In Mr. Greens professional opinion, the garage electrical is code compliant
pursuant to the NEC 2017.
