Column footing

Sirs:
This letter is in response to comments from an Inspector concerning the column footing
construction.
On My site visit of 1/16/2022 1 observed the forming and reinforcement of new concrete
footings. I find the construction to be in conformance of the drawings. (The design for the
footings is described in note #7 sheet S2.1.).
The construction of the concrete footings was expedited to insure that the installation of
permanent columns and beams would not be delayed, since shoring for the second floor
appeared to be failing due to extended time in place.
