29) unit multi -family development consisting of six (6) twomfamily, one (1.) fjve-family, and finro (2) six -family residentialbuildings. Per Land, Development Code (LDC) 6.00M4 these activities qualify for a Vegetation Removal* Permit. No
impacts to any additional native vegetation are permitted at this time.

of Issuance: The
following minimum standards for vegetation protection shall .be applied to areas: of vegetation designated to be preserved..
A barrier shall be placed and maintained around the tree's perimeter'to form a continuous boundary as specified
below subject to restrictions as detailed below: Vegetation
protection barricades shall be placed ata minimum distance of either ten (10) feet from the edge of groups of
protected vegetation or from the radius of the dripline from all protected trees, whichever is greater; Protective barriers
or protective designations shall remain in place until completion of site constructionandclearing activities; In
the
event that any protective barriers are removed or altered and clearing activities are conducted within an area identified
for preserve, SLC ERD is authorized to direct that all .land clearing and site alteration work at the site be
stopped until the barriers ,are restored and any necessary corrective actions taken to repair or replant any vegetation removed
or damaged as a result of these encroachments.
The preserve areas. and tree preservation areas shall be maintained in their natural state, so as not to alter the
water and oxygen. content of the soil and impair its function;

No.grdde changes or excavation of any sort may be made within the barricaded 2reaS;
Ifany excavation or other activities :are expected outside of the preserve area or dripiine, the roots should. frst be
pruned (to :the depth of required excavation) to sever them cleanly;
If underground. utilities must be routed through a protected root zone area, tunneling under the roots shall be
required; _
If irrigation .must be installed, it shall be outside of the dripline of all preserve areas and „protected trees;
No fill material, construction material, concrete, paint, chemicals, or other foreign materials shall be stored,
deposited or disposed of within a vegetation preservation area;
No signs, permits, wires, or other attachments shall be affixed or attached to protected vegetation;
No equipment, including passenger vehicles, shall be driven, parked, stored, or repaired within designated
vegetation preservation areas.
Post Clearinq Requirements:
1. Mitigation: No mitigation required at this time.
2. Landscaping! Landscape shall comply with the approved landscape plan prepared by Jeffrey W. Smith.
