1. All construction shall con forni to the latest edition of the Florida Building Code if not specified below.
2. All framing shall be exterior grade pressure treated lumber.
3. All fasteners, nails, bolts etc that shall come into contact with exterior grade pressure treated lumber (or any
lumber treated with a Copp r based solution), where the final component is to be exposed to the weather,
shall be `Z-MAX', hot -dipped galvanized (HDG) or stainless steel. Use only hot -dipped galvanized fasteners
with 'Z-MAX' or hot -dipped galvanized connectors. Use only 1,3tainless steel fasteners with stainless steel
connectors.
4. The deck is designed as a firter
e-standing structure and shall not )e connected to the existing structure.
5. Contractor to frame perime of deck and mount to posts fir enough away from structure to allow for
installation of all connectors.
6. Move deck frame and post into finish position and mark locations of post anchors. Install post anchors.
