This letter serves as my response to comments:

1. Please submit the elevation of the invert for the septic system. This is required for
determination of the elevation and requirements for storm water. See section 107 of the 2014
Florida Building Code and section 7.04.01 (D) of the Land Development Code.

2. Please submit the elevation of the occupied and adjacent properties. This is required for
determination of the elevation and requirements for storm water. See section 107 of the 2014
Florida Building Code and section 7.04.01 (D) of the Land Development Code:

3. Structure is located in an AE-6 flood zone. Please specify the lowest floor elevation on the
survey. See section 107 of the 2014 Florida Building Code.

4. Structure is located in an AE-6 flood zone. Please put on the plans the elevation of the lowest
part of the garage floor. See section 107 of the 2014 Florida Building Code.

2014 Florida Residential Building Code.
Response: Revised Design Criteria to exposure "D" to match revised structural
drawings. See delta 1 on sheet C1.
6. Could not complete my review of the opening design pressures on the Product Review
Affidavit due to the Expose Category being incorrect. Please see section 107 of the 2014
Florida Building Code.

7. Could not complete my review of the opening design pressures on the Certificate for Design
Load Compliance due to Expose Category being incorrect. Please see section 107 of the 2014

8. No Product approval number was submitted for the roofing underlayment. Please submit the
correct Product approval number on the plans or submit the product approval in duplicate.
See chapter 1 Section 107 of the 2014. '

9. Insulation R-values stated on the Energy Calcs. do not match the submitted drawings for
review. See chapter 4 section 402 subsection 402.1.2 of the 2014 Florida Energy Code.
Response: See revised Energy Calcs. attached.
10. Worse case marked YES on the Energy Calc's. House does not meet the requirements for the
use of the exception. Please check the orientation of the house for the walls, windows and
doors. See section 405.4.2 exceptions.

11. Please add the cubic volume of the conditioned space to information block containing the
square foot information. See chapter 1 section 107 of the 2014 Florida Building Code.
Response: Revised the information block containing the square foot information to

The following corrections have been made to the construction documents which are pertinent only to
our portion of the design of the.above referenced project, as clouded and tagged as Delta #1 with
revision date on plans.
Structural Comments:
1. Incorrect exposure category on plans, per R301.2.1.4.2 of 2014 Florida Residential Building Code.
Sheet SO:
1. Revised filled cells at both garage door openings to be #7 bars.
2. Revised spacing of filled cells to 64" O.C. max, typ.
3. Revised filled cells at opening in Master Bath to be #7 bars.
4. Added filled cells to each side of Sliding Glass Doors at Family Room and Casual Dining.
5. Revised filled cells at opening in Dining Room to be #7 bars.
6. Mono footings beneath 4"/6"W Interior Bearing Wall revised to M30i. See added info in Footing Schedule.
7. Added Double Wire Mesh beneath 4"/6"W Interior Bearing Wall.
Sheet S1:
1. Revise anchor connections at trusses on 4"/6"W Interior Bearing Wall.
Sheet S2:
1. Revise anchor connections and uplifts at trusses (7 locations).
Sheet SDI:
1. Revised Design Criteria accordingly
