FIELD NOTES: Verified No Vegetation to be removed, this large 5 acre property had been previously cleared, and
contains an approximately V2 acre_ pond, and three separate building pads.
1. HABITAT: Previously cleared lot, which contained scrub habitat. Approximately. 60 cabbage palms, eight (8)
laurel oaks > 12" dbh, one (1) 14" slash pine, and one large live oak were identified.

3. VEGETATION REMOVAL: None proposed
4. SIGNIFICANT ARCHAEOLOGICAL OR HISTORIC FINDINGS: None identified
Conditions of Issuance:
• According to St. Lucie County Land Development Regulations (Chapter 6.00.04) this project
qualifies for a Vegetation Removal Permit Exemption.
• As this exemption is for no vegetation to be removed, no further vegetation shall be removed from
this site of any size.
• Because no vegetation is proposed to be removed, no mitigation is required.
• Please be advised: heavy machinery shall AVOID or be used WITH CAUTION under or near any
native tree or on/in any native plants to be preserved as so not to cause root compaction or
excavation. Please be advised that additional native vegetation destroyed due to constuction
damage will be required to be mitigated for at a 4:1 ratio. According to (Chapter 6.00.05 C) a
continuous unbroken boundary must be placed at a minimum distance of either (10) feet from the
edge of protected areas or from the dripline from all protected trees, whichever is greater.

The activities set forth below do not require the issuance of a Vegetation Removal
Permit. The burden of proving entitlement to any particular exemption shall lie, at all
times, with the person claiming the exemption. These exemptions shall not apply to the
removal or alteration of any mangrove tree or dune vegetation. Applicants claiming
exemption MUST- submit photographs of the area to be developed or non -protected'
vegetation to be removed or an agriculture exemption letter from the SLC Property
Appraisers office.
