Lmog Cgunty, PArmitt(ng The solar array to be mounted on the above referenced location has been evaluated and found to be in compliance with the 2014 Florida Building Code 5th Edition and 2014 Florida Building Code Residential 5th Edition. The same wind load can be expected for the solar array as with the original roof structure as the pitch of the array is the same as the original roof pitch. It is my professional opinion and. experience that the attachments provide a significant factor of safety to overcome uplift from wind at 170 mph 3 sec gust and shear from wind and array weight.
