LUCIE. THE.SCREEN ROOM HAS SOME OPEN AREAS AROUND IT. THE ENCLOSURE IS CLOSE TO THE SAVANNAS PRESERVE STATE PARK. PER THE EXPOSURE CATEGORIES LISTED IN SECTION 1609.4.3 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE THIS ENCLOSURE SHALL CONSERVATIVELY BE CALLED AN EXPOSURE 'C'. ACCORDING TO THE COMPUTER PROGRAM "WINDSPEED BY LOCATION", A PRODUCT OF 'APPLIED TECHNOLOGY COUNCIL' THE DESIGN WIND LOAD REQUIREMENTS FOR A RISK CATEGORY I ENCLOSURE IN THIS LOCATION IS DICTATED -BY A WIND SPEED OF 148 MPH. HENCE, THE DESIGN PARAMETERS BEING USED -HERE ARE 150 MPH WIND LOAD, EXPOSURE 'C', RISK CATEGORY 1.
