GENERAL NOTES
1. Composite panels shall he constructed using type 3003-11154 aluminum rac]ngs, 1 or 211CF ASTIR C-578 carpenter brand EI'S
adhere to aluminum facings with Ashland Chemical 2020D ISO grip. Fahricolion to be by Elite puncl products only in
accordance with approved fabrication methods.
2. Elite roof panels maintain a 111. 1715 (inQ class '13' (ext) rating and are NER-501 approved.
3. This specification has been designed and shall be fabricated in accordance with the requirements orthe Florida building Code
6i6 Edition (FBC), composite panels comply with Chapter 7 Section 720. Chapter 8 Section 803, Class A interior finish, and
Chapter 26 Section 2603. All local building code amendments shall be adhered to as required.
4. The designer sholl determine by accepted engineering practice the allowable loads I'ar site specific load conditions (including
load combinations) using the data rrom the allowable loads tables and spans in this approval.
5. Deflection limits and allowable spans have been listed to nice[ FBC including the H VI1Z. In HV117 this product shall he used
in structures "not to be considered living areas" per Section 1616 unless impact resistance in accordance to the E IVli7
requirements are met.
6. Safely factor or2.0 has been used to develop allowable loads and spans from testing in accordance to the Guidelines 1'or
Aluminum Structures Part 1 and conforms to the F13C Chapter 16 all([ 20.
7. Testing has been conducted in accordance to ASTM E72-05: Strength Test of Panels for building Conslmction.
