GENERAL NOTES
1. Composite panels shall he constructed using type 300-II154 alwnintnn theings, I or 2 PCF AS IVI C-578 carpenter brand EPS
adhere to almninum facings with Ashland Chemical 2020D 180 grip. Fabrication to be by Elite panel products only in
accorTlalce with approved fabrication methods.
2. Elile roof panels maintain a UL. 1715 (int.)class '11' (ext) noting and are NER-501 approved.
3. 'fhis specification fins been designed and shall be fabricated in accordance with the requirements of the Florida Building Code
6i6 Edition (PBC), composite panels comply with Chapter 7 Section 720. Chapter 8 Section $03, Class A interior finish, and
Chapter 26 Section 2603. All local building code nmcndnlents shall be adhered in as required.
4. The designer shall deterlllfne by accepted engineering practice the Allowable loads for site specific load conditions (including
load combinations) using the data from the allowable loads tables and spans in this approval.
5. Deflection limos and allownble spans have been listed to nice[ FBC including the IIVIIZ. In HVI l7- this prodoet Shall he used
in structures `snot to be Considered living wrens" per Section 1616 unless impact resistance in accordance to the IIVHZ
requirements are Inet.
6. Sufety factor of2.0 has been used to develop allowable loads and spans Rom testing in accordance to the Guidelines For
Aluminum Structures part 1 and confirms to the F13C Chapter 16 and 20.
7. 'Nsfing has been conducted fit accordance to ASTM E72-05: Strength Test of panels for f3uilding Construction.
